First, you will be made aware if there are unopened Texts in your account in two ways. As long as the location is opened up in a browser tab, you will see a notification in the tab itself:



You can also see a notification when you are looking inside the NextPatient location:


The best way to respond is by navigating to the Texting tab and simply typing your message into the "message" field. You will also see the full-text history with the patient.




Once you respond to the message, make sure to "mark read" and then you're done!


You can also text patients directly by looking at the Today's Patients tab and then typing a message into the Text Messages field.
