The schedule tab allows for a similar interface to Today's Patients, however, it has more technical components depending on your API integration. To access it, click Schedule.

In the schedule screen, you'll see the day's schedule. You can move to other days with the < and > or jump to a different day with the calendar button:

In the example above, if you have many scheduled items/openings, you can specify which providers you want to view in the View dropdown menu.

You can see the appointment type the patient booked under their name as well as the free text entry if you're scheduling widget allows it. Clicking the patient's name opens the page below:

In the above example, you can see many details about the patient's appointment:

  • Appointment time and type
  • Provider and reason for visit
  • Contact details, Sex and DOB
  • The reminders selected for them
  • Interface details (you probably won't need these details unless you need to provide these for advanced troubleshooting with the NextPatient team)
  • The status of the appointment. Note when the schedule status is changed to complete, a survey may go out based on your account features and enabled settings

Appointment slots are available for patients to book in NextPatient (and show on your website) appear in this view. You can delete them with the button highlighted below. Depending on your practice management software and the API with NextPatient, these might reappear. The best place to manage your schedule is in your other software because then NextPatient will read and update based on that.

If you have any questions about the Schedule tab or if you'd like to schedule a quarterly business review with your account manager, don't hesitate to reach out to NextPatient.
